Would we still Believe?

It is easy to believe when our prayers are answered. But what if they are not? When Jesus entered Jerusalem, people shouted, “ Hosanna to the Son of David" — a cry meaning "save us, we pray." At that time, Israel was under Roman rule, and the people longed for freedom. They saw Jesus as a king who would deliver them from Rome. But Jesus had a completely different purpose—one that was difficult for people of that time to understand. Much like the things we struggle to understand today. What they expected, and even prayed for, did not happen. So the question is: Would we still believe? Not in the things we ask for—but in the Lord Himself. Today, we often pray earnestly for what we want. Sometimes, we don’t understand what is happening to us or around us. But do we still believe that God is good? Do we still trust that His plan will not fail, even when we cannot understand it now?
